Our traditional residence halls, suite-style buildings and apartment buildings contain living environments designed for students who have disabilities or have chronic medical conditions, or who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
Your circumstances may affect where you want to live, especially when you take into account the possibility of an emergency.
Appropriate housing choices offer the features outlined below.

Counters and desks at wheelchair-accessible heights
Bathroom facilities with mounted bench seats, handheld showers and sinks to allow easy usage. (In traditional residence halls, bathroom facilities are communal and are located at the center of each floor.)
Parking spaces and dining facilities
Deaf or hard of hearing
Strobe lights indicate when someone is at the front door or using the intercom
