ResNet & Cable

Cable
NU-owned properties will enjoy cable television service in their residence hall called HuskyCable.

HuskyCable is not available in leased properties. (From leased properties, cable television is available through contracting with Comcast directly.)

ResNet
Our residence computer network program, known as ResNet, provides residents with in-room Ethernet service to the University’s network, providing 24/7 access to Snell Library resources, e-mail, Telnet, and the Internet. To get this service, you must live in a ResNet-equipped hall, be a current student in good standing, and have a personal computer with a network card.

ResNet is not available in leased properties (except Northeastern at the YMCA). From these properties you may access Northeastern's e-mail and internet through a local ISP such as Comcast.

For more information, contact the ResNet resource center: 4 Speare Commons
