Our Mission

To play a leadership role in building societal resilience by learning from disasters and teaching and advancing the lessons learned.

Counter-Proliferation in the Global Supply Chain

With initial project funding provided by the MacArthur Foundation, the Center is preparing to convene and engage government officials, industry leaders and experts with the goal of identifying how industry can more effectively integrate counter-proliferation measures into supply chain operations.

Disaster Resilience for Infrastructure, Buildings and Communities

Together with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Northeastern’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the National Fire Protection Association, and the global consulting firm ICF International Inc. the Center is mobilizing academic experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and emergency managers from major urban areas around the globe to share multidisciplinary findings on designing resilient systems and communities.
