NIH has announced the implementation of F-RPPR (Final Research Performance Progress Report). This functionality will replace the current final progress report module in eRA Commons. It will have a similar look as the existing final report module however there is one significant change. As of January 1, 2017, PI’s will need to complete the F-RPPR regardless of the status of their competitive renewal proposal. If awarded a competing renewal for the project, the F-RPPR will be used as the RPPR.
Details about the new process are provided in the NIH Announcement.
Questions about the new report requirement can be directed to your Grant Officer.
