Nomination and Selection Process
Each nomination must be submitted to the Office of the Provost. Nominations may be made by a graduate student, faculty, staff or administrator at the university. After nominations are received, candidates will receive an email notifying them of their nomination and be asked to submit supporting materials. The deadline for nominations to be submitted is February 1, 2019 at 5 p.m.
A committee chaired by the Vice Provost for Graduate Education, and consisting of faculty and staff members will select the awardees in each category. The Office of the Provost may appoint additional committee members. Awardees must ensure they are available to receive their award at the Academic Honors Convocation.
