The Outstanding Graduate Student Awards are presented annually by the Graduate and Student Government (GSG) and the Office of the Provost. An award will enhance the recipient's CV or resume due to the highly competitive nature of the awards. Each awardee will receive a certificate, and monetary award of $1,000. Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Research: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering
- Research: Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Community Service
- Experiential Learning
- Teaching: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering
- Teaching: Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences
The purpose of the Outstanding Graduate Student Awards is to honor exceptional students for their significant contributions and accomplishments in teaching, research, community service and experiential learning. The awards were established to confer honor upon individuals, who, by their contributions to their field and the community, have brought recognition to themselves and the University.
All Northeastern University graduate students are eligible.
