Your invention or idea is important (1) to your professional development, (2) to the University, and, if applicable, (3) to your research sponsor. It is essential that it be reported promptly so that it can be evaluated to determine if there is sufficient novelty to permit patenting, and if so, sufficient commercial potential to justify a licensing program for industry.

  • Submit all completed Invention Disclosure Forms to disclosure@neu.edu.
  • Please note that CRI will only accept the most current version (REV1213) of the form.  All older submissions will be returned and inventor will be asked to resubmit on the most current version (REV1213).
  • Two formats are provided below:
