Determining Eligibility
To determine eligibility for any veteran's benefits, contact the Veterans Affairs Regional Office at 888.GI.BILL.1 (888.442.4551) or visit the VA Web site. GI Bill benefits are determined and paid solely by the Veterans Affairs Regional Office.
After Eligibility Has Been Established
Once you receive the Notice of Basic Eligibility (NOBE) form from the VA, contact the VA representative in NU Veteran Enrollment Certification (see contact information at bottom of this page). The VA representative will verify your enrollment status (based on your course registration) with the VA Regional Office.
