Registration Restrictions: Students in graduate schools outside the College of Arts and Sciences may register for graduate Arts and Sciences courses if all prerequisites listed have been met. Non–Arts and Sciences students should check with the course instructor to ascertain that they have the appropriate background before registering for the course in question. In addition, if you anticipate receiving degree credit for the graduate Arts and Sciences course, you must obtain approval from your own graduate school.
Please note: Arts and Sciences students who wish to register for a course offered by a graduate school other than Arts and Sciences must contact the dean’s office of the graduate school offering the course to obtain a Cross-Course Registration Form. This form must be signed by the graduate coordinator of the student’s department, the director of graduate student services in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and by the dean’s office of the graduate school offering the course.
