health education and teaching methods in assessing and intervening
therapeutically to meet the primary health-care needs of adults. Assesses the
role of the nurse in partnership with the family and community in disease

technologies used in the delivery of health care, with an emphasis on their
impact on health-care delivery and patient outcomes. Addresses
confidentiality/security and legal/ethical issues related to the use, design,

resolution, to give the student an understanding of the knowledge base for the
