Campus Recreation Fee
This fee is assessed during terms the students are in classes to support the future construction of athletic fields and facilities. In addition, students will gain admission to home athletic events, use of the Marino Fitness Center, the SquashBusters athletic facility, and the Cabot Gym (fitness and pool).
International Student Fee
International students are assessed this fee their first term. If a student completes their program and enters a new educational level the student would be assessed the fee the first term of their new educational level.
Student Center Fee
Students pay a student center fee per in-school semester to support the Curry Student Center.
New Student Fee
A non-refundable new student fee will be posted to your first semester
bill. This fee includes student orientation costs (including the opportunity
to have two complimentaryguests participate in the Parent Program which
runs simultaneously to the Student Program), the automatic membership
of your parents into the Parents Association; receiving regular communication
on the University throughout the year, and Welcome Week activities. Visit

Student Activity Fee
This student endorsed fee provides support for student organizations, clubs and entertainment events throughout the school year. It is assessed annually for undergraduate students and per term for graduate students.
Residence Activity Fee
All students living in the residence hall system pay a fee for activities sponsored by the Residence Student Association.
Northeastern University Health Plan (NUSHP) Fee
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all students who have matriculated and carry a certain course load or are enrolled in a full-time program have hospital insurance. Students who are covered under a comparable domestic hospital insurance plan may waive the Health Services fee by going to the self-service tab on your myNEU portal.
