Locating Safety Phones on Campus
These phones are distinguished by the blue light on top, and have "Northeastern University Campus Emergency Phone" lettered on the door of the weatherproof box.
In Case of an Emergency
Open door and press the red button. The phone will automatically dial the university police dispatcher, who will immediately know you exact location.
An example of emergency use would be crime reports, suspicious activity, medical assistance, traffic accidents or other law violations.
For Non-Emergency Calls to a Northeastern University Extension
Push the "On" button to activate the phone.
To call a Northeastern phone number just press the four-digit extention number.
Dial 2121 to request a personal safety escort on campus.
