“Unleashing the Capacity of Your Leadership Team” is a 1½-day retreat workshop for leadership teams aimed at improving team coherence, performance, and effectiveness. Multiple loyalties, powerful traditions, and complex team dynamics often get in the way of success. Even when organizational goals are clear, prevailing forces can seriously compromise, if not thwart, effectiveness and outcomes. This interactive workshop explores team behaviors that are rooted in self-protective conduct, unproven assumptions, and a less-than-ideal organizational culture. Through a series of exercises, conversations, and explicit “negotiations,” team members develop a set of shared commitments, identify specific goals, challenges and responsibilities, create a program for sustainable actions, and identify metrics to gauge progress.
