I am a first-year graduate student working toward my Ph.D. in social psychology. My interests span social and personality psychology with my primary interest being individual differences in accurate judgement of others’ nonverbal cues. I would like to discover why certain individuals are better able to discern these cues, and whether individuals who are more skilled in recognizing them might be better able to resolve interpersonal conflicts. My other research interests include the role of conflict resolution strategies used in diplomatic relations.
