Stephen Harkins
I am a first-year graduate student working toward a Ph.D. in social psychology with Professor Stephen Harkins. My general research interests focus on the influence of motivation on performance. Specifically, I am interested in how evaluation and threat affect motivation and subsequent task performance, as well in as identifying the processes that have the potential to mediate these effects. Other topics of interest include goal systems theory and decision-making during goal-setting.
