Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Jeremy Jamieson

Jeremy JamiesonCongratulations to Dr. Jeremy Jamieson on his new tenure-track position at the University of Rochester. Jeremy completed his graduate work in our Social Psychology area under the supervision of Professor Steve Harkins. 

In 2004, Jeremy earned his B.A in Psychology from Colby College. Next he came to Northeastern University where he received his doctorial degree under the direction of Professor Steve Harkins. During his time at Northeastern, he was honored with an Outstanding Research Award for his work on the effect of stereotype threat on quantitative GRE. Upon completing his Ph.D. from Northeastern in 2009, Jeremy accepted a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. His postdoc is funded by NRSA from NICHD. At Harvard, Jeremy received grant funding from The National Institute of Child & Human Development (NICHD). Most recently, Jeremy has accepted an Assistant Professor position with The University of Rochester. Best of luck to you Jeremy!
