PROTECT is seeking candidates for a new position, Director of Research Communication and Development.
The successful candidate will work within the center to provide leadership and oversee activities in 3 key areas:
1. Research Translation: The applicant will use a broad variety of vehicles (web, social media, email, in-person meetings, etc) to communicate with government, the media, the public, and industry about outcomes arising from Center activities, as well as encourage knowledge and technology transfer into the field via publications and patents.
2. Administration: The applicant will work closely with the PROTECT Center Principal Investigator and Executive Committee to ensure program activities are planned and executed by administrative staff.
3. Research Development: The applicant will identify and develop new partnerships and programs for external funding that are related to and enhance the PROTECT mission.
