Prof. Kaeli, Core D Leader, named ACM Distinguished Scientist

kaeli 1Professor Dave Kaeli, Data Management and Modeling Core Leader, was recently named Distinguished Scientist by the Association for Computer Machinery. ACM is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society and delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. Awardees must be nominated and endorsed by ACM members and must demonstrate having achieved a significant accomplishment or having made a significant impact in the field of computing, computer science, and/or information technology, in general, and in their selected category, in particular. Professor Kaeli continues to contribute to the field of computer and environmental health sciences in his work with PROTECT as the Core prepares to build customized user interfaces that will allow for efficient and accurate data entry and data analysis among the multiple participating universities.Congratulations, Dave!
