Cordero works with EPA, Mt. Sinai to Promote Children’s Environmental Health Awareness

PROTECT co-PI and Core C Leader Jose Cordero is collaborating with the EPA and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine to raise awareness of children’s environmental health, particularly in Puerto Rico.

This one day, free-of-cost, conference will provide attendees with the latest information on hot topics in Children’s Environmental Health including prenatal exposures, asthma, childhood lead poisoning, water contamination and pesticide exposure.

Using case examples from Puerto Rico, the goal of the conference is to increase awareness, prevention, identification, and treatment of environmental exposures from pregnancy through childhood and adolescence.
