President Aoun and Provost Director visits Tyco facility in China
In August of 2010, President Aoun travelled to China to meet with education and business leaders. As part of the trip President Aoun and Provost Director met with Dean Ying Zheng LIU of Shanghani Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and Shelley Stewart, and executive at Tyco. Working together, the organizations have developed a joint Global Engineering Capstone program that provides an extraordinary opportunity for Northeastern and SJTU students to work on projects as members of a global engineering team dealing with multiple time zones, different cultures and different languages.
