President Aoun spoke on a Council on Foreign Relations panel about the globalization of higher education. Held at the Council's New York headquarters the panel was part of the Higher Education Working Group on Global Issues Meeting - a semi-annual event sponsored by the Council and the Forum for the Future of Higher Education.
President Aoun, who is the incoming chair of the American Council on Education (ACE), was joined on the panel by John Sexton, president of New York University, Jane McAuliffe, president of Bryn Mawr College, William Powers, Jr., president of University of Texas at Austin, and Molly Corbett Broad, president of ACE.
