| In memoriam: Adrienne Devino
Dear Northeastern Students and Colleagues, The Northeastern community has been touched by an event of profound sadness. Adrienne Devino, a freshman communications major, died this past Saturday following a tragic accident while snow tubing on Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. On behalf of the entire Northeastern community, I extend my deepest sympathies to her family and to her many friends. AJ, as she was known to her many friends on campus, was an engaging and energetic part of our community. She was active in the Resident Student Association and in the SGA, and involved in numerous campus activities. In her first year here at Northeastern, it is clear that AJ had many friends and that she had already made her mark on our campus and in our community. A tragic accident which suddenly and without warning takes the life of a vibrant young person causes incomprehensible sadness. I urge members of the community to support one another during this difficult time.
