The MAPS Executive Board is excited to announce that its 3rd Annual Minority Health Panel entitled “Eliminating Health Disparities: Engaging Future Leaders” is scheduled for February 19th at 6:30PM at the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute (West Village F, Bldg. 1).
The purpose of this year’s panel is to facilitate open discussion about health disparities affecting minority groups in the United States today, and inspire a new generation of students that will work towards eliminating these issues. The panelists will discuss their knowledge of health disparities and give attendees a background of the work they’ve done around this topic. Additionally, panelists will provide career advice to our students interested in various health related professions.
Dinner will be served!
