Polymer chemistry research at the bio-materials interface

Research Synposis

Advances in polymer chemistry have enabled the synthesis of polymers that are well-defined in architecture, composition, and polydispersity. Our group focuses broadly on developing synthetic methodologies for functional polymers and on their integration into nanostructured materials and/or bioconjugates, with the ultimate goal of opening new possibilities in drug delivery, immunotherapy, and combination therapy.

MAY 2015

We are happy to establish a collaboration with Rogers Corporation, and welcome to Qi Zhang for joining us as a postdoc fellow to work on this project!

Prof. Zhang won the ACS PRF Doctoral New Investigator Award on his proposal, "Controlling polymerization reactions at the nanoscale"!

APRIL 2015
