Postdoctoral Researchers

Dr. David Finnegan

Dave

 

David is originally from North Attleborough, MA. He completed his BS in Chemistry at Worcester Poly Tech in 2001. Following that he received his PhD from the lab of Marc Snapper at Boston College in 2009. He then went on to work for Alexandros Makriyannis in the Center for Drug Discovery at Northeastern University. In 2011 David Joined the Laboratory for Neglected Disease Drug discovery. His interests include skiing and biking.

Jennifer is from Phillipsburg, New Jersey and got her BS in Chemistry at The College of New Jersey where she also minored in music. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Northeastern Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

William Devine

William

Originally from Hamden, Connecticut, William received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Connecticut in May of 2010. By autumn he moved to Boston to pursue his doctoral studies in organic and medicinal chemistry and joined the Pollastri research group by the spring of 2011. In his spare time William is an avid baseball and hockey fan and is an enthusiastic home brewer.

Angela Tanner

Angela Tanner received her undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  She is now pursuing her PhD in organic chemistry in Dr. Michael Pollastri’s research lab at Northeastern.  During her spare time, Angela enjoys yoga, hiking, and traveling.

 

Lisseth Silva

Lisseth attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and majored in Biology and Chemistry. She graduated in 2012 and joined Pollastri’s lab in summer 2013. She is a huge soccer fan and I enjoys long distance running. Originally from Peru moved to the US 2004.

Charlie Hoyt

Charlie is a second year undergraduate pursuing a BS in Chemistry. He is an active member of Northeastern Student Chapter of the ACS. His interests include mathematics, computer science, and music. In his free time, he likes running and playing soccer.
