Each of our medicinal chemistry research projects involves collaboration with biologists outside our group. Such collaborations involve compound screening in biochemical or parasite assays, and analysis of compounds for their physicochemical properties. Many of our collaborations are first initiated by biologists who have identified potential therapeutic targets of interest. In the interest of seeding new collaborations we can provide samples of inhibitors that we have purchased or synthesized in the context of our Research Themes, and we can provide medicinal chemistry advice and consultancy for nascent projects.
Compound set requests. We currently have a set of approximately 30 known inhibitors from our research programs. These inhibitors include phosphodiesterase inhibitors for a range of human enzymes, kinase domain inhibitors of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), and Aurora kinase inhibitors. If you have a hypothesis-driven screen that could benefit from profiling a variety of these compounds, please contact us.
