Students awarded prize for best essay on ‘Germany’s role in Europe’

Liz Moore, Mackenzie Jones, and Marie Schulte-Bockum were awarded prizes (1. $200, 2. $100, 3. $50) for their outstanding essay contribution to a symposium on ‘Germany in Europe’.  The symposium was organized by Natalie Bormann and Hans Eijmberts as part of the European Campus Weeks, and with funding from the German Embassy in D.C.

About 40 students were present at the event, which was kicked off by the German Consul General, Rolf Schuette, followed by presentations by each of the contest winners.
