Professor Sliva at Cybersecurity Conference in Sarajevo

Professor Amy Sliva will be speaking at the upcoming international conference, Balkan Security, Technology and Education - The Challenges within Cyber Infrastructure, September 13, 2012, in Sarajevo.
The conference is sponsored by the Ministry of Security of Bosnia-Herzegovina and American University in Bosnia-Herzegovina and will focus on the importance of cyber security and international security in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the region. The conference will also provide information and demonstrate the seriousness of the existing problems, the necessary approaches required, and how experts ought to work preventatively in resolving issues related to cyber crime. Numerous web-site attacks, internet frauds, unauthorized access to companies' computer systems, credit card scams, wireless network abuse and child pornography are only a few on the list of cyber crimes which continuously illustrate growth in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the region, representing a challenge which needs to be faced.
