Massachusetts Fair Share Internship
Approximate Deadline: December 2012
The fiscal cliff deal was an important first step towards tax and budget reform, but it left many of our state’s economic problems unresolved. For example, it did not deal with the ongoing jobs crisis in Massachusetts. Therefore Massachusetts Fair Share is going to work on a campaign that focuses on garnering public support around closing corporate tax loopholes and using the money to reinvest towards job creation, and things like rebuilding our roads and bridges, renovating schools and expanding clean energy.
Currently, we are looking for highly motivated individuals to intern with Massachusetts Fair Share and help out with this effort. As an intern, you would help us as we get our message out through social media, organize press conferences, build coalitions with other community organizations, and mobilize supporters through grassroots community outreach. This is a great way to gain some valuable campaign experience and make a difference in your community.
We are looking for hardworking, responsible individuals who want to learn more about campaign work, are willing to take on new challenges, and most importantly, care about making a difference.
If you fit this description and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply now by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
