The office of Representative James M. Murphy is seeking applicants for spring 2014 and summer 2014 internships. This position will allow applicants to gain experience in the areas of policy research, policy briefings, constituent services, professional skills, public relations work and data entry. Applicants will be a valuable part of a team in a very busy state house office. This position includes work on a diverse subject matter, including but not limited to local matters and election laws.

Applicants are encouraged but not required to have prior experience in a professional environment. All applicants must have strong writing skills and strong communications abilities. This is a part time position requiring a minimum of 10 hours of availability per week. The days are flexible and can be adjusted based upon applicant availability and class schedule.
