Health Policy

This focus area provides the opportunity for individuals with background and experiences in health care systems to examine the theoretical foundations and interactions of the social, political, economic, and legal aspects of these systems. Students in this focus area apply qualitative and quantitative research methods to study the impact of policies on health care delivery and patient care as well as propose evidence-based policy changes.
