Matthias Ruth is a full professor with appointments in the Matthias RuthPolicy School and in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is also currently Editor in Chief of “Urban Climate” (Elsevier) and Book Series Editor of “Modeling Dynamic Systems” (Springer). Prior to Northeastern, Professor Ruth was at the University of Maryland where he was the Roy F. Weston Chair in Natural Economics, Director of the Center for Integrative Environmental Research at the Division of Research, Director of the Environmental Policy Program at the School of Public Policy, and Co-Director of the Engineering and Public Policy Program.
