Our research program is interdisciplinary at the interface of nanomaterials, physics, engineering and biology. The main focus is on the development of nanomaterials for applications in nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, spintronics, energy applications and biology. Current research interests are in the area of nanoporous alumina templates for synthesis of nanowire arrays, titania nanotubes for energy applications and spintronics, GaN and related nanowires for electronic and spintronic applications and Au nanowires for neuronal interfacing.
