In this talk I will describe current directions related to capturing spatial and temporal dependence in a Bayesian modeling framework. Space and time are key attributes of datasets recorded by telecom companies and by various location-based services. I will discuss how efficient Bayesian models can be constructed for such large scale dataset. Other questions of interest (e.g., privacy) will be discussed as time permits.
