James will be discussing his co-op experience as an Instructional Aide at the Devotion Elementary School in Brookline, MA.
My presentation is about my co-op at Edward Devotion School, a K-8 school in Brookline, MA. I specically sought out a co-op where I could work with kids and see how science curricula are developed. I substitute taught in multiple grade levels and subjects, in addition to performing administrative duties and supervising the kids at recess. I was able to help with several physics-type projects and, in doing so, gained a better understanding of how kids were prepared for physics in high school and beyond.
