Preceptor Development Program
As a preceptor, you are allowed access to the preceptor development program developed by the School of Pharmacy Office of Experiential Education (OEE). The School offers these resources to meet standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) which require training for new preceptors and ongoing training and development for existing preceptors.
Preceptor training is available through the OEE, the Preceptor Training & Resource Network from Pharmacist’s Letter and other resources (see below). Programs from the OEE and the Preceptor Training & Resource Network from Pharmacist’s Letter are accredited by ACPE for continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit and are available free of charge to Northeastern University School of Pharmacy preceptors.
