End of Fall Semester

Hello everyone!

The fall semester of gigs for the Pep Band has officially come to a close! We’ve been to some great games, including a thrilling buzzer win at the first Men’s Basketball game vs. BU, where the Huskies came out on top 65-64. Demetrius Pollard mentioned us in an article from the Huntington News, available here. Our Men’s Soccer team reached the NCAA tournament and we were fortunate enough to play at their first round game against BC on November 15th where they came out on top with a 1-0 victory. “Party Rock Anthem” has become a staple at Men’s Basketball games, unifying us with the cheerleaders and the dance team for a rocking time out. Other songs that attract our fans attention include “Stacy’s Mom”, a Dog House favorite, “Build Me Up Buttercup”, a post-game standard, “Carry On My Wayward Son” and Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love“.

Our band has continued to grow over the course of the past few months and we’re excited to see what the new year is going to bring. We have two rehearsals in January, occurring on Sunday January 13th, as well Sunday the 20th. Both are going to be in the Ballroom in Curry, time TBA, so keep checking our Facebook and Twitter accounts for more information.
