If your vehicle is in an accident or the window was broken and you are unable to remove the decal. You will be required to provide supporting accident and insurance documents to the office before a replacement decal will be issued. The replacement fee is $5.00.

If your vehicle was stolen and not recovered, you will need to provide a copy of the police report and insurance documents. The replacement fee is $5.00.

If your decal was stolen, you will need to provide the NU police case number and a replacement decal will be issued for a $5.00 fee.

In order to receive a replacement permit, you will need to bring copies of the supporting documents along with your payment to the Cashier's Office located in 248 Richards Hall. NOTE: The University will retain the documents so you need to make copies before going to the Cashiers Office. The Cashiers is a secure office and does not have access to a copy machine.

If you lose your decal, a replacement decal will be issued for a fee of $25.00

If you are selling your vehicle, don't forget to remove your parking decal. All decals are transferable so it can easily be removed and affixed to your new vehicle.
