Parents Association

Northeastern is proud of our community of parents and family members who are engaged and excited about their student’s experience. We understand the need for connection and communication with campus offices, which is why all parents of undergraduate students are members of the Northeastern University Parents Association.

As members of the Parents Association we will keep you informed and connected to university life through a variety of communications and benefits including:

Bookstore Discounts – Receive 10% off emblematic clothing at the Northeastern Bookstore year-round. In addition, receive 20% off emblematic clothing during Parent and Family Weekend.

Assistance and Resources – Use the Office of Parent Programs and Services as your first stop! Call 800.696.6516 or email with any questions and concerns. Also take advantage of our Parents Corner Message Board where you may view questions other parents are asking or ask a question of your own.

Parent Matters Newsletter  – Parent Matters, our publication for parents and families, will arrive via e-mail and regular mail throughout the year. This resource will provide you with valuable information and advice, as well as important dates and timely updates.

Parent Chats – During the academic year you will have the opportunity to participate in electronic chats where you may speak with staff, students, and other parents to learn valuable information regarding your student’s college experience. Chats are scheduled in the evenings and focus on specific topics of interest such as housing, financial aid, and transition issues.

Parent Portal – Similar to your student’s myNEU account, your Parent Portal will serve as your primary resource for obtaining information regarding campus news and announcements, important upcoming events, and happenings specific to your student’s college. Access to student account information such as academic transcripts and Husky Card balance is also available. You may also review and pay tuition bills through the Parent Portal.

You automatically become a member of the Parent Association at the time your undergraduate student enrolls–look for your benefits card in the mail in late August. If you do not receive your Parents Association card, please contact us at Cards are sent to the student’s permanent mailing address.
