Parents and guardians of current Northeastern students may create an online Parent Portal account where they may be granted access to certain content and services related to their student’s experience at the university. For example, parents and guardians can review bills and transcripts online, get news and information from their student’s college, and much more.
Authorization for parents and/or guardians to access the Parent Portal must come directly from the student. While the university is offering this service to parents and students, access may not be granted without permission from the student due to the protection of student rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Under FERPA, students may restrict what information their parents/guardians are able to access.
