OSCCR CONDUCT CORNER
Congratulations! You’ve almost made it through another semester here at Northeastern. As finals week rapidly approaches, here are some tips for staying stress free:
-Make sure you are aware of what your professor’s policy on Academic Integrity is. They can vary from class to class, and it is important to double check and make sure that however you are preparing for finals is appropriate for that class. What may be okay in one class in regards to a study group, could be viewed as unauthorized collaboration in another class, so make sure you know the rules!
-Always leave yourself enough time to complete papers and projects. When you leave things to the last minute, and feel rushed, that is when unintentional plagiarism can occur, as you forget to properly cite your work.
-Get plenty of sleep! If you are well rested, you will feel better and will perform better on your exams.
-Reach out if you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed. There are a number of resources available to help you, such as the tutoring center, UHCS or WeCare.
