Welcome to Northeastern!

Congratulations on your enrollment into Northeastern University for Spring 2015! Orientation gives you a taste of your new life as a Husky. This mandatory program introduces you and your family to the university, and prepares you to begin your life as a college student. Registration will take place in your myNEU Portal in late October.

We’re glad you have chosen to pursue a Northeastern education. We are looking forward to seeing you on campus in January and helping you during your transition!

Please note: The Undergraduate Student Fee supports first year New Student Orientation costs, including the opportunity to have two complimentary guests participate in the Parent and Family Program. Students will automatically be billed this fee upon enrollment; more information may be found on the Student Financial Services website.

It is mandatory for all students who begin in the spring to attend a two-day Orientation session before they start at Northeastern. You’ll meet your fellow classmates, get to know campus, and learn the ins-and-outs of college life. We’ve got a great staff of current students who serve as Orientation Leaders throughout your program. These students will help you get acquainted with all Northeastern has to offer. You’ll meet your academic adviser, talk about your academic goals, and register for classes. New Student Orientation also includes the opportunity to have two complimentary guests participate in the Parent Program, which runs simultaneously to the Student Program.

This is a time for you to get to know your new home—so come, have fun and get to know Northeastern!
