Orientation is a mandatory, one-day program for all incoming Transfer and Veteran students.

Transfer students, you’ll meet your fellow classmates and learn the ins-and-outs of campus life. Orientation Leaders will help you get acquainted with all Northeastern has to offer. You’ll meet your academic advisor, talk about your academic goals, and confirm spring classes. We also encourage your families to attend the Parent & Family Orientation – two guests are complimentary. Additional guests, above the two complimentary, will incur added costs.

Veteran students, your Orientation is specially designed for you. During Orientation, you’ll meet with Andy McCarty, Director of the Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers, to discuss Veteran processes and benefits. You’ll also meet with additional Northeastern staff and current Veterans to learn more about Veteran resources and involvement.

This is a time for you to get to know your new home—so come, have fun, and get to know Northeastern!
