What is an OL?
- A University ambassador & role model
- A resource to new students and families
- A team player
- Provides excellent customer service
- Provides a welcome and supportive Orientation experience to incoming Huskies!
What does the OL do?
- Work full-time during the summer, including all 12 Orientation sessions
- Complete Materials Prep for each session
- Welcome Week Shifts
- Other duties are assigned
We are looking for students who are:
- LEADERS!
- Mature and responsible
- Enthusiastic about NU and being an OL
- A people person
- Fun!!
OL Selection Timeline:
- Application Deadline: Jan.31
- Interview Process: Feb. 5 - 16
- Status Notification: Feb. 23
- Candidate Intent: Feb. 28

How do I apply?!
You must attend ONE of the following Mandatory information Sessions to learn more about the positions and to pick up the Orientation Leader 2007 application. We'll see you there!
Monday, Jan. 15 – 3 PM Tuesday, Jan. 16 – 6:30 PM Wednesday, Jan. 17 – 12 Noon Thursday, Jan. 18 – 3:30 PM Friday, Jan. 19 – 1 PM Monday, Jan. 22 – 6:30 PM Wednesday, Jan. 24 – 12 Noon Thursday, Jan. 25 – 3:30 PM
All Information Sessions will be in the Admission Visitor Center, 110 Behrakis.
Please note: The Orientation Leader position is full time. Students cannot be on co-op, in classes, or hold any other jobs while in this position.
