Here are a few key facts on Question 2:

• The new law will NOT cover:
  • Growing any amount
  • Buying any amount 
  • Selling any amount
  • Possession over an ounce
• It will now be easier for potential employers or schools to find out about any marijuana offenses you may have even though it will become a civil penalty.

Please visit the Massachusetts state website for details on what this law consists of and/or the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution to learn about Northeastern's drug policy.

A discussion panel on what the new law entails, changes in police enforcement both on and off-campus, and how the student conduct office will handle future violations.  Panelists are Valerie Randall-Lee, Director of OSCCR, Jim Ferrier, Associate Director of NUPD, and Susanne Bines, a Middlesex County (MA) Assistant District Attorney.
