Prescription Pain Killers
Classes: depressant, analgesic (pain reducer)
Examples: Vicodin (hydrocodone), Percocet, Codeine, Percodan, Demoral, etc.
Short-term Symptoms: paid reduction, upset stomach, nausea, constipation, dry mouth, dizziness; uncommon symptoms include seizures, clammy skin, severe weakness.
Long-term Symptoms: stomach ulcers, liver failure, hyperventilation, jaundice (yellowing of skin due to liver malfunction), decreased urination, lowered sex drive, muscle twitches, depressant effects on central nervous system.
Use Caution with: alcohol, antihistamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines.
