All Northeastern University Online courses follow a consistent weekly work routine. You can complete your lesson during the week when it is convenient for you, as long as you keep pace with your course’s weekly schedule and meet your instructor’s due dates. Each week, your instructor presents a list of learning objectives. The tools used enhance collaboration and interaction in online courses by providing students and instructors with additional communication capabilities.

You’ll connect with your peers and instructor either synchronously, that is in real time, or asynchronously, at a time and in a way that’s convenient for you.
Many instructors also hold virtual office hours so that they can connect with students one on one no matter where they are located.
Collaboration with classmates can take many forms online: you may have a debate, work with others to solve a specific problem or research a topic, or discuss how theories relate to professional practices.
