Students will be fully immersed in the university with full-time, degree-seeking students. Courses are offered in most Arts & Sciences disciplines. Students will have access to all the university's resources, including: sports clubs, e-mail, computer labs, and the library.
Students may choose from Curtin University's entire catalog.Courses taken abroad may satisfy college and departmental core requirements. Students should consult with their advisor to discuss the specific requirements that may be satisfied abroad.
Perth, the sunniest and most isolated regional capital, is characterized by a Mediterranean-type climate and relaxed attitude. Perth is located just off the Swan River and a few miles from the Indian Ocean beaches, and has a population of 1.2 million people. The city is filled with cafes, bistros, nightclubs, and piano bars. Western Australia's beautiful parks, natural wildlife, and beaches, contribute to making Perth a truly enjoyable city.
Curtin University, located in the capital of Western Australia, is in Australia's largest state. Curtin offers courses to over 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students: 3,000 of these students come from 90 different countries. One of Australia's most respected universities, Curtin was established in 1967 as an institute of technology.
Students will live on campus with Australian and other international students in "cottage" style accommodations. The suites are fully furnished, including kitchen facilities, which allow you to prepare your own meals. Meals are not included.
Full-time Northeastern student, 2.75 GPA, and middler (third) year or above.
