There are two deadlines: OISP and the Global E³ On-line application.
The Global Engineering Exchange is a consortium of member institutions promoted to facilitate study abroad for engineering students. This program is administered by the Institute of International Education, which is the administrator of the Fulbright Program and the government’s premier public diplomacy initiative.
Students may take courses abroad to satisfy NU and core engineering requirements. Students can participate in the following fields of study:
Mining Engineering Aerospace Engineering Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Chemical Engineering Structural Engineering Civil Engineering Production Engineering Electrical and Computer Engineering Transportation Engineering Environmental Engineering Media Engineering Telecommunications Materials Engineering Biotechnology Mechanical Engineering Automation and Systems Technology Computer Science & Engineering Engineering Physics and Mathematics Industrial Engineering and Management
Courses in the program may satisfy major requirements as well as some elective requirements. Students should consult with their academic advisor and petition for the substitutions as a part of the application process.

You choose:
Full-time Northeastern student, 2.2 GPA, and middler (third) year or above. Contact Joy Erb in the the undergraduate engineering office for more information.
$19,400 per semester for the 2009/2010 academic year. Students are responsible for airfare and accommodations, living expenses and books. Scholarships are available through Global E3 and for certain countries and fields of study.
