• New Intensive Language Classes Offered: The Office of International Study Programs (OISP) in partnership with Northeastern University Cultural Language and Learning Society (NUCALLS) are offering intensive language classes for all interested students who will be traveling abroad in upcoming months. The classes, which are taught by students and are entirely free, will be held twice a week for four weeks. The classes are designed for students with little to no experience of the language that is spoken in their host country. Attending these intensive language classes are a great way to prepare for your time abroad, connect with fellow students from your program, and make the transition into your host country an easier one. • Overseas Vote Foundation: Students or educators who will be abroad during Federal elections need to fill out the Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) to request an Absentee Ballot and/or register to vote. This will allow them to vote in any election for Federal office. Note that this process is different than the procedure to register for domestic absentee voting. • OISP-ISSI Mentoring Program
  The Office of International Study Programs (OISP) and the International Student & Scholar Institute (ISSI) is inviting prospective study abroad students to participate in a new initiative that will bring them together with Northeastern University's international students. The purpose of the program is to give future study abroad students the opportunity to hear firsthand experiences of the country in which they hope to go abroad. Read more and apply here.
